Wēlr
About Wēlr

A platform for the work regulators actually inspect.

The hardest part of regulated service isn't the work — it's proving the work. Wēlr is the connective tissue — procedures, work orders, telemetry, evidence — built so proof is produced as the work happens, not cobbled together months later.

What we believe

Three principles.

01

Constraints belong in code.

Anything compliance-relevant that lives only as policy will be ignored under pressure. Encode it in the model layer, in the database constraint, in the API permission class — not in a comment.

02

The audit trail is the product.

Service evidence is what regulators, customers, and internal QA actually need. Everything else is convenience. Build the convenience around the trail, not the other way around.

03

Service knowledge is institutional, not personal.

When your best engineer retires, the system should be smarter for what they did — not poorer for what they took with them.

Origin

Where this came from.

Wēlr was created by a former Principal Tech Support Engineer at ViewRay, a manufacturer of MR-guided radiation therapy systems. ViewRay's equipment is among the most technically complex, most regulated, and most safety-critical in the field of radiation oncology.

That experience exposed a pattern that turned out to be universal across regulated service: support packages arriving by email, procedures drifting away from source documentation, audit evidence spread across systems, and too much knowledge trapped in individual engineers.

Wēlr is the product of that lived reality. Not a generic field service app looking for a vertical — a service-management platform designed around the work regulators actually inspect.

Next step

Ready to stop stitching service evidence together?

If your team is juggling PDFs, support packages, work orders, customer updates, and QA evidence across five systems, Wēlr is worth a look.
